Welcome to Virtualaircraftpictures,
we are proud to present you a young but
daily growing aviation photo database for PC Flight Simulation pictures. Virtualaircraftpictures
exists since 2006 and was formerly located under our partner website
patricksideen.com. Since 2007 Virtualaircraftpictures is located under its
current address. Now we offer everybody the possibility to upload any kind of
flight simulation pictures, regardless of their quality. High quality shots of
course get into our high-quality database.
1.General
We do not reject any picture quality wise. All of the below listened points
cause a rejection in high-quality and standard-quality database:

You must not copy and use pictures or videos from Virtualaircraftpictures
without the written permission of the picture's author. Every picture has the
copyright of its author.
2.Uploading Screenshots
Since March 2008 we offer everyone after registration on Virtual PLANE!
SPOTTERS the possibility to upload own flight simulation shots. A detailed
instruction on how uploading into Virtual PLANE SPOTTERS works, can be found
here: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=24.
Every shot gets into our database. This is also mend for normal forum posts.
Below you can see which photos match our high-quality database standard:
- Interesting motive
- Interesting scenery
- No disturbing objects in the picture (like task bars or for example passenger
stairs in front of the plane).
- Very good quality (high resolution, no visible spots in the picture and
rounding should look as rounding,...)
- Correct description (aircraft registration, location, type, airline, etc...)
For a good and correct upload we recommend you that the forum post should look
as follows:
[Airline] Lufthansa
[Aircraft Type] Airbus A320-211
[Registration] D-AIPE
[Location] EDDS[STR]/Stuttgart[Leinfelden-Echterdingen]/Germany // Other
versions: In Flight (Where?) ; Off-Airport (Other location)
[Comment] Departing runway 7...
[Copyright] Copyright by Patrick-Seifert (for example)
Always write your copyright to your picture. Make us not responsible for
pictures which have been published without permission. Your pictures have your
copyright and we are not allowed to publish them as our copyright.
[Airline] …
[Aircraft Type] …
[Registration] …
[Location] … // Other versions: In Flight (Where?) ; Off-Airport (Other
location)
[Comment] …
If needed, you can copy the lines above to your posts and edit it as you need.
3.Which pictures are allowed?
All uploaded pictures must be in JEPG (*.jpg;*.jepg;*.jpe;*.jfif) format.
There is no limitation in their size.
4.How to upload pictures?
1. Open AVIATION PHOTOS (viewforum.php?f=20)
and for example CIVIL AIRCRAFT (viewforum.php?f=4),
in this create a new topic (only aircraft type named topics are allowed!: e.g.
"Airbus A380" and not "Airbus A380 in London Heathrow"!) or
reply to an existing one (e.g. Boeing 747-200 viewtopic.php?f=4&t=82).
2. Write a few comments to the aircraft type, airline and location in your post
and go to the "Upload attachment" section of the posting page. Click
on "Browse..." button and select the file you wish to upload on your
hard drive. Optionally you can write a file comment. After this click on
"Add the file". Depending on file size and Internet connection the
upload can be finished in a few seconds or up to minutes.
3. When upload is completed, scroll down and click on "Submit". This
step completes the upload procedure and the forum post with the picture is now
publicly viewable.
